The Lash Supply

Are you thinking about trying eyelash extensions? Before
your next appointment, take some time to decide what supplies you need and how
to use them properly. You’ll be happier with the results if you have everything
you need and know how to use it correctly before you get started! In this
guide, we will show you the best lash extension supplies available, as well as
instructions on how to use them properly to achieve beautiful eyelashes every
time.
How much do I need?
There are three basic things to consider before purchasing
eyelash extension supplies: amount, color, and applicator type. The amount of
tweezers you need depends on how many customers you think you'll have. If
you're planning on working out of your home or only doing a few clients per
week, anywhere from 25-100 will suffice. If you're planning on opening a salon
or getting into an eyelash business professionally, then it's best to purchase
an unlimited supply (anywhere from 500-1000). As for color and applicator type,
it really depends on what kind of work you want to do. Fans are better suited
for people with shorter lashes while individual tweezers are better for those
with thicker and longer lashes.
What kind of tweezers
should I use?
There are many different kinds of tweezers, but not all are
good for applying eyelashes. You'll want to pick a pair with very fine tips so
that you can get in close to your natural lash line. It's also important that
they aren't too sharp as you don't want to damage your natural lashes during
application. For most users, regular tweezers won't work – it's better to
invest in a pair specifically made for nail and hair removal (like these and
these). Of course, these still have a place if you're looking for larger false
lashes that require more precision. An alternative option is using flat-headed
pliers instead of tweezers – though there are some pros and cons to consider
when deciding which one is right for you.
How should I store my
supplies?
While there are some exceptions, it’s usually a good idea to
keep your lash extension supplies in a cool, dry area. If you plan on keeping
your lashes stored for an extended period of time—more than 3 months—you may
want to consider storing them in an airtight container. This will keep dust and
other particles from settling on them, which could cause bacterial growth.
